Hot Tools Regular 3/4 inch Spring Curling Iron (Model 2101)

Bought this item and received it a week before Christmas 2009. Only used it for one time and after that it doesnt get hot at all when I tried to heat it up, even to the highest temperature. No matter how long I heat the item up, the barrel is still cold even though the switch is put on 'on' mode with the additional red light.

great product..works great for long and short hair. Worth the price!

I wish i could agree with eveyrone who loved this product, but I found that i wasn't the only one that got the same results as other people i know. I have extremely MANAGEABLE hair, its not too thick or too thin. It doesn't even take a lot of heat to do whatever i want with it. BUT For some reasonnn... this curling iron doesn't do the job. I could have the sectioned piece im curling in the heat for 1 minute and once i take it out its all weak and wimpy. I don't want to burn my hair for nothing and I had really expected a lot from the curling iron. Now I don't even care if a regular curling iron would burn my hair, as long as i have something that does its job!!!!
